We did it!
The 2016 #weloveyouskidrow Carnival was an overwhelming success. For the nearly 1000 friends, family, and awesome humans who showed up to Volunteer and transformed Skid Row for 4 hours... thank you.
Thank you for taking care of over 1500 homeless. Thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone and being so open. Thank you for getting to know the homeless man, woman, or family you were paired with. Thank you for washing feet, cutting hair, giving massages, feeding, dancing, singing, playing, waiting tables, personal shopping, and connecting with so many beautiful souls. Thank you for showing us what's possible and that love can really conquer all. I realized Saturday that there are so many of you who want to be of service to those who need it so badly, but just didn't know how or where to go, and it inspires me so deeply.
I have so much hope for our future no matter how dark it may look at the moment. I love you all, thank you for your loving words, and all your support. Here's to making next year's event even better. Get ready, the 2017 Carnival of Love is going to be off the hook. IF you want to be involved early, contact me below. With infite love and gratitude, Justin Baldoni
Clear your calendar - It's going down! Ferris kicks off on March 16th, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Roberta's (261 Moore Street) is our meeting spot for a night of fun and excitement.
